Tutorial.1: Backup Android contacts to computer
Step 1 Connect your Android phone to computer
Connect your Android phone to your PC via a USB cable or via Wi-Fi. This program will automatically detect your device and shows it in the primary window. Then click "Contacts" tab on the left pane to enter the contact management window.
Note: Android Transfer is fully compatible with all Android phones and tablets, like HTC/Motorola/Sony Ericsson/Samsung.
Step 2 Back up Android contacts
The contact management window is as below. Select your wanted contacts and then click "Import/Export" button. This will bring up a drop-down list. choose "Export selected contacts to computer" or "Export all contacts to computer". Then, a pull-down list appears on the right, you can backup contacts to Outlook Express, Outlook 2003/2007/2010, vCard file, Windows Address Book, and Windows Live Mail.
Back up contacts from Gmail
If you save all your contacts to Gmail account, you can just log in to your Gmail account you used to save Android contacts. Choose contacts you want to backup and click "Export". Select vCard format and save contacts to your PC. You can open and view them with Address book.
Tutorial.2: Import/Export Android contacts on computer
Step 1 Set up your Android phone
To get started, download and install Android Transfer on your computer. Once finishing the installation, you should run it. Then follow the connect wizard to connect your Android phone with your PC via a USB cable or Wi-Fi. This program will automatically detect your device and display it in home window.
Step 2 Export Android contacts to computer
Click on "Contacts" tab to enter the contact management window as below. Then select the contact(s) first and then click the "Import/Export" button. when pull-down list appears, choose "Export selected contacts to computer" or "Export all contacts to computer". In the pull-down list, you can export your Android contacts to vCard files, Outlook Express, Outlook 2003/2007/2010, Windows Address Book and Windows Live Mail.
Step 3 Android Import Contacts
Click on the "Contacts" tab to enter the contact management window as below. Then hit the "Import/Export" button to navigate to and import your contacts from vCard, Outlook, Windows Address book and Windows Live Mail.
Or, you can directly sync contacts to your Android phone as long as you have save them on your Gmail, Facebook, and account like that.
